PHL-CHINA CONNECTIONS is a seven-event program scheduled for January 12-13, 2017.
Supported by twenty organizations (founding members of the PHL-CHINA ALLIANCE), the program of events in January will launch the PHL-CHINA ALLIANCE's year-long program of initiatives and deliverables. These initiatives and deliverables share two important features in common:
(1) They leverage a competitively-selected, bi-nationally-supported public/private partnership between the City of Philadelphia's Commerce Department and the China Partnership of Greater Philadelphia in a broad range of urban sustainability and clean energy applications; and
(2) They are organized to showcase PHL region leadership on five official platforms of U.S.-China cooperation (in the fields of people-to-people relations, city-based climate change leadership, EcoPartnership, inbound direct investment, and wetlands cooperation).
The PHL and Tianjin Economic-technological Development Area (TEDA) collaboration became an EcoPartnership in 2014 and is aimed at bringing innovative “Urban Clean Energy Infrastructure” solutions to both regions. For more information on this EcoPartnership, please click here.
